long hiatus

well...

i have been on a long step back for awhile. got a great job and got 3 promotions already. lot of work. i like it so i think i will stick with it.

some jewelry some not. been to busy fishing, gardening, and killing chickens. trying to get the most of summer before the winter hits and i am forced back inside.

do have some new stones tho... excited about getting back to making some art.

art...its hard work

i am sure those of you out there thought that art is easy like paint by numbers. (REALLY i am not trying to be condisending, i didnt know before) but in truth its hard work. i am trying to update my web site and there are so many steps its ridiculous!! let me just say it has taken two weeks to get where i am and i am just getting to the point i can even look at it! christ on a cross!

but i am so excited!!! i am looking forward to this endevour and hoping with every cell of my body that this will work. other wise i am regulated to office jobs for the rest of my life. as much as i love it i get tired of the paper cuts!

went fishing. i seem to have no feel for it. i lost my touch somewhere in idaho. i will get it again but of course time. i tell you time sucks.

back to work

moving some god damn more!!!!

well since my last blog, i have moved some more. instead of the motorhome (which we have been living in) we are now living in the garage. so one large room and we are living, sleeping, watching tv, and what not in it. its ok for now. i know it will get better. I surely hope. don't know.

anyways...lots of ice cream, and liquor seems to be helping. did have fresh halibut for dinner tonight. mmmmmmm! can't ever go wrong with that.

have new sights- facebook, twitter, and etsy. linked to my blog. soon to be on the web site. as soon as i figure out to make all the stuff on my computer to this new computer. give me some time. i don't seem to remember where anything is.

three days in

well i am on my third day. started letting my cats out and they love it. the only problem is trying to catch the bastards when i dont want them out anymore. me and jeremy just spent 1/2 hour chasing the stupid boy around the garage and still didn't catch him. maybe a fox will eat him.

any ways went to the liquer store last night cuz i was feeling really out of sorts. the have long island ice tea and a screwdriver in a can. love it!!! a $2 drunk. my kind of drinking. tried a thing called a brass monkey and it was weird. but for what 8 oz and completely buzzed who can bitch.

had to drop off the u haul truck. now for some reason they didn't have us drop it at the uhaul in town. noooooo we had to go to the one in meadow lakes...10 freaking miles on the other side of the planet. then jeremy forgot to grab the dolly so i had to back to the house and then back to the uhaul place. 45 minutes of driving total. i live in a really remote place. but on the good note i can be naked outside and no one knows!!!

miss my friends, miss my bank, miss my grocery store. don't miss my neighbors, dont miss the heat (if its happening),

canada is stupid

well i am here. unfortunately no pictures yet cuz during my hairy cairy of moving i didn't realize that i needed a cord that i packed to put the pics on my computer. so that will come later.

We left on Wednesday the 17th. we just went to blackfoot to stay with brother in law but a car/cop chase broke out as we got there so the sky was lit up in the rosey glow of blue and red across the street. super fun.

we finally got really on the way on thursday and got not quit to Dillon MT when we had a tire blow out and was stuck on the side of the road for 3 hours. so our day ended with us not getting past Great Falls. a total of 400 miles. not bad but it took till 10 pm to do that.

friday was better. got through the Canadian border. they really do talk weird. it was the most boring drive from there. for three days flat, flat, flat. boring.

i do have to say if you ever travel to another country...exchange your money BEFORE you leave! they could not do the exchange rate and give me back the correct money and i got ripped off about $15 before i found a bank that would exchange. totally pissed off and flabergasted that they can't do math. really? Also on another note of that country...they do not know how to make maps. the map would show one thing and the actual streets and or highways it was completely different! we got completely lost in edmonton. looking for the largest mall in the country and we ended up in some suburb.

how do you miss a mall? go to canada.

but we got through the stupid county of Canada.

got to Alaska. i can't tell you how happy i was. we finally got home on monday about 6pm. a very long drive. i wouldn't recommend it it in a uhaul. it sucked.

but we did see lots of elk, 9 bears, a fox with a rabbit in its mouth (good for the fox!), a rabbit, deer, lots of buffalo, and finally a moose about a mile from my dad's house. the buffalo were eating gravel. who knows.

jungle juice

use bucket or very large container and add fruit - water melon, cantalope, grapes, oranges, mango, frozen berries, etc.

then add alcohol. i generally use flavored vodka like citris and raspberry. add just a little bit of juice like sunny D or orange juice. till covers the fruit. let sit for 1 to 2 days. then fill with either a combo of juice and berry/fruit kool aid.

very, VERY potent and extremely good. and can say you got your fruit for the day!!
